You can be the change we need.

In 67 seconds, someone will be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. 600,000 to 700,000 cases are recorded yearly. Therefore, educating people is how change really happens. Our mission is to spread awareness to the youth. We believe that education is one step closer to finding a cure — one step closer to making a difference.

What is the Silver Thread Project?

The Silver Thread Project is an organization that unites people and communities in the fight against Alzheimer’s. Discovered over a century ago, Alzheimer’s disease continues to affect many lives today, and we believe that it is our generation’s mission to find a cure.

Our organization helps fund research programs by hosting events citywide monthly. We also focus on education by hosting weekly club meetings and events, teaching our youth.

Our mission is to build a future where Alzheimer’s is no longer seen as something dangerous, but a preventable condition of the past. We’re working now so that one day, Alzheimer's will be just a memory.
